100% Volunteer Fire Department – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Many kids dream about being a firefighter when they grow up, but only a few make it happen. If you still want to fight fires and help your community, becoming a volunteer firefighter is a great choice! The Shelton Fire Department is always looking for new volunteers. They’ll give you all the training and gear you need. As a member, you’ll get a pager to let you know when there’s an emergency, and you’ll be ready to respond any time of day.
